A brief introduction!

My name is Neeltje van Oorschot.

Together with my husband Peter, we have been living in Oudenbosch since August 2021. Now that the children are older and almost all standing on their own feet, we were able to look for a beautiful place to make our dream come true!In 2021, we found this beautiful place and moved from Prinsenbeek to Oudenbosch.We were mainly looking for more peace and space, especially a little more room for our pets such as our 15 chickens, 2 cats, and our dog Dokus.

This also allowed us to realize a long-cherished wish: our Bed and Breakfast 'Het Blij Hoen' and now also 'Het Blij Hen'.

We want to give our guests the opportunity to relax here and enjoy the outdoor life, which we also love so much. We also want to share our love of nature with our guests.

General

The Bed and Breakfast is located on our property and is suitable for a maximum of 4 people.This Bed and Breakfast is an annex, separate from our main house, and has its own entrance.The area of the Bed and Breakfast is 45m² and features a seating and sleeping area with a king-size box spring bed and a sofa bed for 2 people, a flat-screen TV with Netflix, excellent Wi-Fi, and air conditioning.Furthermore, the Bed and Breakfast has a dining area with a fully equipped kitchen.In addition, there is a luxury bathroom with a rain shower and sink.

The Bed and Breakfast has a separate toilet.

Terrace

The terrace overlooks the driveway, and we have created a separate garden area with dividers, planter boxes, and an outdoor kitchen, so that our guests can enjoy a cozy seating area on the terrace. Guests can also use the outdoor kitchen for a barbecue for a small fee.There is also a Jacuzzi available, so our guests can also enjoy the wellness experience at Het Blij Hoen.

Parking

The car can be parked on our own premises behind the gate.

Pets

Unfortunately, we cannot allow pets in the Bed and Breakfast except for a service dog. If you do spot a dog on our grounds - we have one ourselves. He cannot enter the Bed and Breakfast grounds, but he enjoys watching our guests from behind the fence.
