Het Blij Hoen

General

The Bed and Breakfast is located on our property and is suitable for a maximum of 4 people.This Bed and Breakfast is an annex, separate from our main house, and has its own entrance.The area of the Bed and Breakfast is 45m² and features a seating and sleeping area with a king-size box spring bed and a sofa bed for 2 people, a flat-screen TV with Netflix, excellent Wi-Fi, and air conditioning.Furthermore, the Bed and Breakfast has a dining area with a fully equipped kitchen.In addition, there is a luxury bathroom with a rain shower and sink.

The Bed and Breakfast has a separate toilet.

Terrace

The terrace overlooks the driveway, and we have created a separate garden area with dividers, planter boxes, and an outdoor kitchen, so that our guests can enjoy a cozy seating area on the terrace. Guests can also use the outdoor kitchen for a barbecue for a small fee.There is also a Jacuzzi available, so our guests can also enjoy the wellness experience at Het Blij Hoen.

Parking

The car can be parked on our own premises behind the gate.

Pets

Unfortunately, we cannot allow pets in the Bed and Breakfast except for a service dog. If you do spot a dog on our grounds - we have one ourselves. He cannot enter the Bed and Breakfast grounds, but he enjoys watching our guests from behind the fence.

Het Blij Hen

This Bed and Breakfast is an outbuilding, it is separate from our main house and has its own entrance.The area of the Bed and Breakfast is 45m2 and it features a sitting and sleeping area with a king-size box spring and a sofa bed for 2 people, a flat-screen TV with Netflix, excellent wifi, and air conditioning. Furthermore, the Bed and Breakfast has a dining area with a fully equipped kitchen. Additionally, there is a luxurious bathroom with a rain shower and a sink. The Bed and Breakfast also has a separate toilet.

Veranda

The veranda overlooks part of our own garden and is situated on a plot of 200m2. We have created a separate garden area for this B&B, completely separated from our garden, making it entirely private. The veranda of Het Blij Hen has its own seating area where you can look out onto a private garden, and there is a Jacuzzi and an infrared sauna. In the garden, there is a chicken coop with 2 chickens. Guests of Het Blij Hen are allowed to pick the eggs themselves. There is also the possibility to have a BBQ (for a small fee).

Parking

The car can be parked in front of the entrance of 'Het Blij Hen.' Bicycles can be safely stored in the garden behind the gate.

Pets

Prices

Prices will be adjusted from January 1, 2026, due to the increase of the VAT rate from low (9%) to high (21%).

Het Blij Hoen, Price per night is €115.00 (including tourist tax €1.35 per person per night), excluding breakfast.

From January 1, 2026, the price will be €125.00

Supplement for the 3rd and 4th person €10.00 per person per day

Het Blij Hen, Price per night €125.00 (including tourist tax €1.35 per person per night), excluding breakfast.

From January 1, 2026, the price will be €138.00

Breakfast

The extensive breakfast is brought in the morning to the Bed and Breakfast in a basket after agreeing with the guest(s) on the time (between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM).

Dietary requirements or allergies can be indicated in advance when booking.

The price of breakfast is €17.50 per person per day.

Luxury breakfast with Prosecco/cava is €30.00 per person per day.

Supplement for dietary requirements: €10.00 per person for (vegan and gluten-free diet)

If breakfast is desired, please indicate when booking.

Payment options: cash, card, or in advance by bank transfer.

Additional 

A cleaning fee of €25.00 per stay will be charged.

During the holidays, we charge a €10.00 supplement per night for both B&Bs.

Check-in is from 3 PM to 6 PM.

Since we do not have a 24-hour reception, we ask you to indicate approximately what time you will arrive so that we can welcome you.

We ask you to leave the apartment before 10:30 AM.

Dropping off your luggage earlier or leaving it longer is usually not a problem, but please call or message me to check if I am available!
